My diagnosis: chronic antral gastritis, h. pylori, fax les. symptoms: heartburn, stomach ache. triple therapy, nexium didnt help. any hope for cure?

Usually yes: But one needs to know whether the H pylori has been eradicated since triple Rx is not 100% effective. If you are taking Nexium 30-60 mins before breakfast, consider taking another dose before dinner and see if this helps. Surgery is another option. There is however no real cure for reflux. Avoid NSAIDs in the meanwhile.

What causes gastritis? Recently stopped nexium for silent gerd and now i think I have gastritis.Stomach pains after eating acidic things mostly, gas, belching. Feels fine after a few hours. Didn't have this pain before I started nexium 2 months ago.
