Good to try herbs : Anxiety and Depression can be debilitating. There are a variety of herbs that have shown effectiveness: St John's Wort, S-Adenosyl-L Methionine (SAMe), and Ashwagandha. Magnesium and Valerian have shown to be helpful for persons with anxiety induced insomnia. Watch for side effects. If you do not have success with the supplements, there are also prescription meds that can help.

DEPRESSION: Best to discuss medication with your Psychiatrist. If uncomfortable with your Dr. consult another for a second opinion. Have a physical exam by a Dr. to determine if you have a physical illness. Consult with a Clinical Psychologist for psychotherapy with ZOOM sessions. Fears and anxiety could be heightened due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Stay safe & hopeful to elevate your immune system.
