If someone tested positive for covid about 12 days ago. no symptoms and they quarantined. when is it safe to be near them ? will they still be contagious?

Covid: It is recommended to be quarantined for atleast 14 days before getting exposed to this person provided they are asymptomatic at 14 days. They should not be contagious at that point. If concerned can get a repeat testing at day 14.

COVID 19 concerns: Per the CDC: “For persons recovered from COVID-19 illness, CDC recommends that isolation be maintained for at least 10 days after illness onset and at least 3 days (72 hours) after recovery. Illness onset is defined as the date symptoms begin.” REF: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/community/strategy-discontinue-isolation.html#:~:text=For%20persons%20recovered%20from%20COVID,the%20date%
