Yes. The determining factors of how sick you will be are within your own individual health and immune response. Being around another case does not amplify the condition.

Agree with Dr. Ferguson. Both of you should wear a mask when near other people. In 6 weeks or so, get a booster dose of Covid vaccine. Wish you good health!
