PCOS ?'s: PCOS patients have a sustained exposure to estrogen produced by the ovaries, which causes excessive production of endometrial cells (uterine lining), leading to a potential ultimately for malignancy. Pregnancy with PCOS is difficult, but if it occurs is managable without complications from PCOS. Patients with PCOS should be on oral bcps, until pregnancy is desired, controlling uterine lining.
