HTN: A healthy lifestyle, with regular cardio exercises, 5 times a week, 30mins a day. Restrict salt intake. Increase fruits and vegetables as they are richer in potassium and lower in sodium. Good hydration with water and minimize caffeine. Adequate sleep and meditation. Multiple causes, common ones being stiffening of arteries with ageing and unhealthy lifestyle and genetic predisposition.
