BP control.: Certain life situations will cause the BP to rise even if you’re on medications; this can include exercise and episodes of emotional stress or physical exertion. This is normal and expected. But your BP at baseline should be in adequate control and your BP numbers under times of such stress should not rise excessively. 24 hour BP monitoring can help to qualify this.
