Likely nothing: The recorded effects of chickenpox during mid pregnancy have so far been minor. The destructive effects seen in rubella & other viruses have not been found. Occasional skin findings at birth suggest prior infection. The danger period for this infection comes if mother breaks out at or near delivery, when baby is vulnerable to fatal aggressive varicella if not treated immediately.
