A member asked:

Is it possible to get chicken pox or measles during pregnancy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Confusing question: If you have been immunized or had prior infections with these agents, it is unlikely you would become infected during pregnancy. However, if not immune, pregnant women can and do become infected with either or both. The vaccines for both are not recommended during pregnancy, although many who have received them without knowing of their pregnancy turned out fine.
