No vax if pregnant: Unfortunately you can't get the vaccine, but your immunity will most likely be protective. The risk to your baby is highest if exposed towards the end of your pregnancy. You can get the vaccine as soon as you deliver.

Varicella immunity: If you had chicken pox when you were younger, as long as not under a year of age, you should have complete immunity and be safe. This includes the baby. Thanks for consulting with Healthtap. :)

Relax: Your chickenpox as a kid makes you immune. Shingles is not as contagious. It is never passed in a cough or saliva like chickenpox. Only contact with the ooze from shingles sores will expose someone to the live virus. As long as you are practicing common personal hygiene/hand washing you have not had a significant exposure.
