Once person completely recovers from pulmonary embolism and mild pneumonia(caused by infected injection area) is there a chance that lungs stay permanently damaged and puts the person at higher risk of covid complications?

Pre COVID: If the patient has pre existing lung disease prior to the COVID 19 pandemic, they are at increased risk for complications. The milder the pre existing condition, the less likely they are to develop serious complications. Avoid contacts, social distancing and a flu vaccine is recommended.

COVID 19: Chronic diagnoses like restrictive lung disease, emphysema, COPD, moderate to severe asthma & respiratory insufficiency can increase risk of asthma. If you had complete recovery from the PE & mild pneumonia they are not likely to place you at significantly elevated risk.
