Why i am getting intermittent loose stool immediately after my first meal? only after first meal, sudden urge, 1-2 times post meal,2-3 time/week.pungent smell,no blood, ,little mucus. other time,bowel is normal in shape/color. is it cancer? pls help?

Bowel problems: While it is difficult to rule out cancer completely from your symptoms it is not very suggestive of cancer. Any family history of colon cancer. Get a stool test done for parasites / bacteria and blood in stools. Also get labs for anemia. How is the appetite, any weight loss? One possibility is irritable bowel or inflammatory bowel disease.

What causes hemoglobin and hematocrit to be low but MCV levels, Iron, and ferritin levels are normal. Been having this problem for 8mths No blood in stool. Guaiac test was normal. Bowel changes mostly soft stool w/ mucus. Could this be colon cancer?
