Im concerned i either ruptured my ear drum or have an infection. i have no pain but the hearing is off. i got a home otoscope and it definitely does not look like the other side?

Needs exam: Unless you are trained in what to look for an ear exam can be confusing. Your description does not provide enough detail to suggest a label for your problem. It could be simple transient fluid accumulation, wax, a hole, an infection, etc. I even find bugs or foreign objects in the canal. When this bothers you enough have it looked at by a trained provider.
