A member asked:

Is a b12 level of 280, in a meat + dairy eating person, aged 26, with neuro symptoms, low?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, your B12 level is at the low end of normal. You may take sublingual form of B12, available over the counter, and retest in 3-4 months. Wish you good health!
