CIRRHOSIS: Do you mean cirrhosis. Cirrhosis is a late stage of scarring (fibrosis) of the liver caused by many forms of liver diseases and conditions, such as hepatitis and chronic alcoholism. Each time your liver is injured — whether by disease, excessive alcohol consumption or another cause — it tries to repair itself. In the process, scar tissue forms.

Alcoholic cirrhosis: Very less likely. A liver ultrasound can rule out liver cirrhosis.

Yes but likely mild.: Fibrosis occurs when healthy liver tissue is replaced with extracellular proteins and collagen leading to scarring. There are several degrees of fibrosis the most severe being Cirrhosis. Most common causes of fibrosis are alcohol, fatty deposition in the liver and hepatitis c. It is possible to develop mild fibrosis with drinking as mentioned. It can be further evaluated with fibroscan.

Unlikely: Fibrosis most often develops later in the stages of alcoholic liver disease and takes several years to form. Drinking roughly 4 cans of beer or 4 glasses of wine a day or more for about 10 years roughly the amount associated with development of fibrosis and other liver complications. However, fibrosis may develop sooner because everyone’s health is slightly different.
