Hi doctors! i had a colonoscopy--thank god only diverticulosis and internal hemorrhoids. i found out that this dr did not do an endoscopy. acolorectal surgeon, not gastroenterologist. i had upper endoscopy 3 yrs ago. do i need endoscopy again?

Context missing: Context reflects the reason for why you are having all the tests you have mentioned. Are they done as screening, do you have anemia believed to be due to gi bleed or previous conditions that are followed up with scopes? Depending on the answer you may or may not need a repeat upper endoscopy. A colorectal surgeon is not likely to perform an upper endoscopy.
