I have a closed reduced wrist fracture in a full arm cast. i am concerned about loss of elbow mobility after 6 weeks. can i expect to be in it for the full 6 weeks or is it common to switch to a short arm cast or removable brace after my 4 week xray?

Follow up imaging: Take vitamin D3 and Calcium, please follow up in four weeks. It may be possible depending on the image and your Ortho consult. In the meantime, follow the directions as per Ortho, and watch for any change in coloration of your hand.
