Stiffness is expectd: after 10 weeks in a cast for anything. Dedicated hand therapy from a CHT or certified hand therapist can be a very efficient way to address stiffness, strength and other associated issues. Speak to your surgeon about this. After internal fixation the time frame is several months , at least , before one may notice a more "normal" feeling. But it could take 1-2 years!
