I am not sure.: I read about 2 red shouldered hawks in bradenton, fla dive bombing people and that one woman was administered rabies shots. However, I have not been able to find anything that definitively links this hawk to rabies. The red - shouldered hawk can carry west nile virus ; toxoplasma gondii, .
