My friend is having a halloween party tomorrow night. there will be about 30 people. they will be checking temperatures at the door. there will social distancing, masks and a sanitizing station. we will all be wearing masks. is it safe to go?

30 large group: In general gatherings of more than 8-10 people are not recommended. It is difficult to socially distance with a larger group. Please follow CDC guidelines and maintain social distancing. Please have a flu vaccine.

Not safe: Agree with the other Doctors reply. Do not recommend gatherings more than 10. Inspite of the precautions mentioned bigger gatherings have the chance of closer and longer exposure specially if the gathering is indoors. With kids involved, they can be carriers with normal temperatures and no symptoms and higher likelihood of one or more kids not following the precautions.
