My grandmother tested positive for covid although i was never in contact with her i did sanitize her house with a mask and gloves on the whole time. i was next to my father who took her to the hospital. am i safe to go to work?

Employer protocols: Please stay home since you have had contact with her and there is a risk of transmission. The typical incubation period is 5-7 days. The PCR test may be positive in advance of symptoms. Please have a test performed and discuss with your employer the next steps. If symptoms develop, contact your PCP, monitor your temperature, use Tylenol rather than Motrin, drink fluids and rest.
