Is it safe to visit the dentist when at this time?he and all workers wear a mask and gloves and place is sanitized constantly have use of hand sanitizer while you only remove your mask while procedure is being performed

Safer than you think: Dental offices have been practicing universal precautions for decades... we assume that everyone has some illness, hence mask, gloves, steam sterilization of instruments, disposables, etc. COVID has resulted in additional protocols for staff and patient safety, including face shields, social distancing, and hand sanitizer to name but a few. No dentist wants their patients to get sick from a visit.

Never safer: One of the safest places to be is a Dental Office. Because of the Universal Precautions that all Dentists practice, we never see newspaper articles about people getting sick after visiting their Dentist. Because we are faced with preventing the spread of the novel Coronavirus, (novel is the operative word) additional temporary precautions have been put into effect. Wear mask, wash hands.
