I have this off and on knee pain its like a aching and the feeling of the knee needing to click and my knees do click everytime i get up and then they start hurting after the click what is causing this?

Knee click/ache: Clicking aching knee: could mean an injury to the anterior cruciate ligament, posterior cruciate ligament or medial collateral ligament , or the meniscus/ articular cartilage. A good rule of thumb is that if you experience clicking that that is painful a visit to an orthopedic surgeon is in order. For information only.
