Started 40 mg omeprazole and 40 mg pepcid 4 days ago for acid reflux flare up. feeling slightly better. im scared of side effects- cancer of omeprazole usage. how long can i safely take? hoping to come off sooner rather than later?

Short term and: These were originally recommended for short term use. First look at your diet because reflux is often underlying food allergy. Then consider stress levels.
