Different classes: Not sure if you're on medication for Osteoporosis as those can actually make reflux symptoms worse. Either Pepcid (famotidine) or Omeprazole may be helpful but Pepcid (famotidine) is sometimes less effective but safer with other medications. Moderate to severe conditions usually require Omeprazole and other meds in that class. Talk to your doctor about your specific situation.
