Confusing: "USP officially designates the SR formulation as“ bupropion hydrochloride; tablet, extended release.” The generic name for the XL formulation is “bupropion hydrochloride; tablet, extended release.” Although the generic drug names are the same, the two products are not therapeutically equivalent or interchangeable."
