I have been prescribed wellbutrin 150mg xl however i can't find it anywhere so i got 300mg xl and doc told me to cut it in the middle... should i do that? or should i perhaps instead take it every other day?

Am reluctant to agree with advice to split a sustained release preparation as there is risk of disturbing normal absorption and instead flooding of drug resulting in instantaneous massive dosing. This is complex, and would highly recommend a second opinion. Generics are available, and maybe an appropriate dosage can be located.
