What do you suggest if my doctor just upped my dosage of wellbutrin (bupropion) from 450mgs per day to 600mgs per day. how long will it take before i notice a change in my mood?

Not sure: thats a high dose for that medication. tough to say when you might notice improvement but if you are having side effects then maybe switch to a different medication. i think its unlikely that going from 450 to 600 will make a huge difference. i think i would have augmented instead of increasing. do you have insomnia?
