I had a biopsy done on a small mole and it came back melonoma in situ. i had surgery done and now i have a six inch scar. should i have gotten a second opinion on biopsy, how accurate usually are biopsies?

Accurate: You can get a second opinion on the tissue on which the diagnosis was made. Talk to your doctor to send the slides to a different pathologist for a second opinion. Wish you good health!
