Hi i was diagnosed with scoliosis and was given simply pain killers and nerve medication. these drugs were; miorel, melonax and omicap. i still have the pains and i dont want to be dependent on pain killers. what else can i do? please?

Several options : Since only 15 % of scoliosis is painful, ask for a referral to PMR or neurology to determine where your pain originates. Local Injections, topicals, spinal injections and spinal cord stimulation are all available from PAIN docs in your area; BUT, a pain diagnosis is needed first (nerve compression, bone pain, muscle pain, etc) so you can treat the source of the pain.
