Possible Abscess: I recommend that this be medically assessed. If she has an actual abscess - it might require incision & drainage.

Pediatrician: Her pediatrician should be aware so that she can be assessed and treated properly. Antibiotics and many times having the abscess lanced maybe needed and best to further coordinate with local resources will be her pediatrician’s office.
