Don't worry.: If it looks like a pimple it probably is. These can sometimes occur on the head. Pimples do not generally need any treatment. Will heal on its own. If it gets large- more like a boil - it may need treatment. MRSA gets a lot of media attention but it is just staph aureus with resistance to some traditional antibiotics. The clever physician understands this and uses appropriate antibiotics.

It happens: Culture reports show as many as 70% of office visits for pustules are for MRSA. It is really not that big a deal. These staph strains tend to create localized infections, not big bad invasive ones. Most respond to readily available antibiotics or simple incision and drainage.
