I laughed so hard this morning. now, the left side of my neck hurts with movement. from behind my ear, down the front of my neck, over to my left mid collar bone. it hurts to smile. did i hurt myself while laughing? what can i do?

Pulled muscle: It is wonderful to hear of overflowing joy and laughter. Try a warm compress and some Tylenol for comfort. Allow a few days for muscle pains to resolve.

Pulled muscle: Sounds like you may have injured your sterno-cleido-mastoid muscle on the left side. The only way to be sure is to be physically examined. See your GP. If you don't have one, go to Urgent Care, not ER. In the meantime cold compresses today, warm compresses or heating pad tomorrow. Take nSaids exactly as directed on package instructions.
