Loss of parent: I'm truly sorry that you lost your mother. This is a significant event in your life to be sure. If you are experiencing difficulty sleeping, anxiety or feelings of depression and mood swings, you can visit with your primary doctor first as many of them are trained to begin the process to help in your adjustment. I wish you the best.

Grief : I am sorry for your loss. You are likely experiencing grief and in order to identify local resources your primary care doc might be able to further coordinate as a grief counselor may be needed.
