A member asked:

Dr. ordered a urinalysis for possible uti. test came back negative, but all the lab work (positive nitrite, mucus, in addition to having all of the symptoms.) is this a bladder infection? i had a level of urobilinogen 4.0, should i be concerned?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Need more info: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, urobilinogen level is not a cause of concern. Did your doctor order a urine culture? Wish you good health!
