Styloid process: Usually your orthopedic surgeon or hand surgeon will go through the risks and benefits of surgery to this area. Not sure what happened but if a fracture or break of the forearm bone called the radius occurs and it needs surgery, these surgeons get involved. Many structures in that area to include nerves, radial artery and tendons which they are careful to keep intact as they operate.
