Sleep hygiene: It sounds like by changing your sleeping habits, that are otherwise not the best possible, your sleep quality has changed which is otherwise typical in such circumstances. Would suggest working on your sleep habits, trying to get to sleep before midnight and keeping mornings active. Shoot for 7-8 h per night.
