Good health habits: Difficulty sleeping is one of the most common problems plaguing people today. Good health habits may help: Lots of fluids daily, healthy diet and daily exercise, eating a light meal for dinner, no screens 2 hours before bed, turn down lights 2 hours prior to bed, journal a summary of your day with accomplishments and positive notes, meditation/prayer, warm shower or bath before bed.

Sleep Hygiene is ke: Retire & rise same time daily. Keep bedroom dark & cool & use only for sex & sleep. Turn off tv & no naps. Exercise regularly but not late evening. No caffeine for 6 hrs & no alcohol or tobacco w/i 2 hrs of sleep. Keep dinner size medium & finish at least 2-3 hrs before sleep. Try warm milk w light reading or warm bath. Valerian, California poppy ), Lavender, St. John's Wort are helpful herbs.
