Don't worry: some recommend 10 mg melatonin 1 hr before sleep. it has very low toxicity--not to worry with 15 mg.

Should be fine.: While I wouldn't want to see you taking this much every night for sleep, if you did this once accidentally it should pose no harm. The nice thing about melatonin is its relative safety. But you shouldn't need more than 5-8mg for adequate sleep benefit. But take it for at least one week before expecting any effect.
