A member asked:

For the past 2-3 weeks i have had unusual chills. i have no fever, no aches or other symptoms and i don't feel too bad. i do work out pretty often and thought it might be slight hydration. my local doctor put me on an antibiotic for 7 days- 500mg of levaquin. it seemed to help with the chills a little, but it seems they have gotten worse. i was wondering if i should go back to the doctor and have blood/urine collected, etc. consistent chills?

Definitely: A diagnosis will be needed and while chills point towards infections, other diagnoses are still possible. Getting back to your doctor will be appropriate in this context. Details matter and keeping a log of your symptoms with timing will help in directing the workup.
