I had meningitis once. i've had headache for a week that started gradual. worse a few days ago. slightly better. doc checked me out. no fever, no aches. cbc, c-reactive protein, sed rate, blood culture all normal. should i still worry of meningitis?

I wouldn't. If those tests were done along with an exam I would not consider worrying a useful endeavor.

It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. As you have already seen a doctor and s/he did not consider meningitis to be a concern, you should not worry about it. Wish you good health!
