Go to the ER: This sounds like a case for the emergency room. Burning sensation in a recently operated limb can be a sign of infection, nerve problem or worse. At the ER, they can take the cast off, take a look at the incision and do whatever imaging is necessary to determine what is going on and treat it. Including recasting the arm.
