I have sudden onset of bad stomach cramps, diarrhoea and some nausea, i just finnished a 3 day cycle of adco metronida 200 mg for a gum infection that i had, i just wanted to know if its related or not?

Post Flagyl : Metronidazole is a very potent antibiotic that can irritate the bowel and upset the normal bacteria in your bowel. Lots of fiber and fluids and perhaps an over the counter probiotic can help. If you develop fever, bloody diarrhea or worsening symptoms you should see your doctor right away.
