Newborn skin: Newborns typically have their mothers hormones still coursing through their blood stream and because of this may have baby acne or even a condition called Seborrheic Dermatitis (cradle cap). Washing the skin with gentle baby soap daily and using baby oil to soften the crust is all you can do. The conditions typically clear after 3-6 months when the maternal hormones are flushed out of their system
