Infant torticollis: Torticollis is a condition when babies are born with their head tilted to one side, caused by tight muscles in the neck. Sometimes people will feel a lump on one side of the neck. Your Pediatrician may instruct you in infant massage and stretches, or refer you to physical therapy (PT). The condition usually resolves by 3 months of age with the proper treatment.

Torticollis; : Baby's head lye in last few months of gestation can cause spasm of the SCM muscle and cause spasm and head position to one side; baby ; looks asay from spasm; this can lead to asymmetric head shape. P.T. and positioning often is helpful.
