Cause: Having a recent negative angiogram is reassuring as it makes ischemic heart disease unlikely as the cause for your symptoms. Most commonly musculoskeletal causes are involved in such symptoms and poorly investigated as they do not pose an immediate threat to life most of the time. Workup should continue under your doctor's direction in order to best match symptoms with possible causes.
