Hi. at times late during the evening (after 9:30/10:00) i will notice that i can spit up blood in my phlegm, not coughing or coughing blood. if i swirl water and then go to bed, thank god it typically goes away. what could possibly be causing this?

Blood from mouth: Blood from the mouth can be from a number of causes to include mouth and gum area, your tube to the stomach (esophagus) or even you lung or airway.
