Im scared its blood in my phlegm i was coughing quite heavily to try cough up some phlegm which i decided to swallow and when i spit some orange brown specs was in it i told my mum crying cause ive read it could lead to vomitblood bush she said no?

A little blood in sputum (phlegm) during colds, bronchitis, flu, etc usually isn't serious or harmful. See a doctor if bleeding seems heavy (e.g. coughing nearly pure blood) or if it continues after your cold/bronchitis improves over the next week or two.
