Kidney: involvement is unfortunately a common complication of Lupus and RESPONDS very nicely in MOST cases to corticosteroid Treatment (Cortisone) This is best done when the involvement is "caught" early on! THUS...THE MONITORING! Hope this helps BE WELL! Dr Z
