Had some blood in my urine. Went to Urologist Blood, WBC and RBC counts were high in my urine. Went on Cypro and had CT Scan. the Results from CT scan should no anomalies. 2nd blood test showed normal Dr wants a cystoscopy feel its unnecessary???
In 40s, non-smoker, 2-5 RBC on nearly all UAs x yrs (not related to menstruation). Otherwise normal urine. No gross hematuria. Normal CT and renal US. No symptoms. Any idea why urologist recommended cystoscopy? Aren't I low risk and likely no issue?
42y/o female. RBC 11-30 occult blood +2A in urine. Consistently having hematuira in urine for 10+ years. Recently had cystoscopy and ultrasound of kidneys. All is fine. I want to find the root cause, but PCP and urologist say Im fine. Any ideas?
If renal ultrasound and cystoscopy are normal, what are other causes of trace microscopic blood in urine to be looked into?
Been having microscopic blood in urine for a month. If cystoscopy and ultrasound of kidneys are both normal do I accept its idiopathic or if not what would be the next steps to figure it out?
